It has been exactly...one month since the incident. Apparently, it's all my fault. My phone's alarm sounded off. Beeping very loudly. I reached for it on the nightstand next to me and disabled it. Cadence's ringtone instantly went off, playing a verse from "The Party Starts Now". I answered it. "Hey Cadence." My voice sounded sloppy and slow. "Hey. Are you asleep?" "Was." I rubbed my eyes "Everything okay?" "You, you won't believe this," Her voice sounded worried.
